Results of bone scan:
-NO NEW GROWTH ANYWHERE
-"Most spots demonstrate decreased intensity" - we take this to be very positive because we know that it is difficult to tell the difference between cancer in bones and cancer scars in bones.
PRAISE GOD!
Results of CT Scan of the kidney tumor:
-The tumor is measured in three separate dimensions. All three measurements went down by over a centimeter since our last scan at the end of August! This is without any infusions (he's had 2 total at this point). We are so thrilled with these results today. This means that since July 17th, his tumor has shrunk by about 35%!
We know that the Lord is working-always working. Thank you for joining with us in praying for the scans today and rejoicing over the results! Also a big thanks to our moms who came down to spend the day with the kids. They are amazing!
Our moms and I will be taking the kids to Arkansas Friday morning. Clay is going to rest in NOLA for the weekend and then fly up Monday morning to spend the rest of the week enjoying all the fall things we can squeeze into a week. The kids have been to Arkansas a couple of times, but this will be the first time Clay and I have been since Christmas. We are really looking forward to being back home for the week!
